Breath Awareness Meditation
Sitting quietly and observing the natural rhythm of your breath without trying to change it—a simple but profound anchor to the present moment.

How It Works
Close your eyes. Notice the cool sensation of breath entering your nostrils, the warmth of breath leaving. Feel your chest and belly expand and contract naturally. You're not controlling or changing anything—just observing with gentle awareness. When the mind wanders, gently return to the breath.
Why It Matters
Your breath is always happening right now. By anchoring your attention to it, you're anchoring yourself in the present moment. This quiets mental chatter, activates your relaxation response, and trains your mind for focus. It's the foundation of all meditation.
