Gratitude Body Scan
A practice where you move your attention through your body, pausing to thank each part for what it does. 'Thank you, feet, for carrying me. Thank you, heart, for beating.'

How It Works
Sit or lie comfortably. Start with your feet. Mentally acknowledge and thank them. Move to your legs, hips, belly, chest, heart, arms, hands, shoulders, neck, head, and mind. Feel genuine appreciation for the miracle that is your physical form—just as it is.
Why It Matters
In a world that emphasizes what's wrong with our bodies, this practice says: 'I see you. I'm grateful for you.' It's profoundly healing. It reduces negative self-talk, increases self-acceptance, and actually improves how you treat your body.
What to Expect
- Greater self-love and body acceptance
- Reduced critical self-talk
- Improved body awareness
- Healing of shame or disconnection
- More compassionate relationship with yourself
